17-Nov 1970 to 13-Aug 2008. David was what helped inspire me to keep
this website running, and he was a good friend and tape trading partner
during the 3 1/2 years my game show trading post was active. David will be missed. :-(


This site is also dedicated to the memory of Michael Jackson (1958..2009),
dubbed the King of Pop. Jackson was an inspiring musical icon whose many talents,
most notably his musical career, made him a legend in his own time. To this day,
I still enjoy all of the music he had produced over the years, and I am saddened
by his unfortunate death. He will be missed... :,-C

This site is dedicated to the memory of poet lauriate Maya Angelou (4-Apr 1928..28-May 2014).
Her lifelong legacy will never be forgotten -- she will be missed. :-(

This site is dedicated to the memory of Indiana broadcoast icon Robert Glaze aka Cowboy Bob (1942..2016).
Cowboy Bob was well known in the Indianapolis, Indiana area on WTTV-4's Cowboy Bob's Corral from 1970..1986.
I had the unique pleasure of meeting Cowboy Bob in 1988 in Vincennes, Indiana while I was on an on-campus
visit to Vincennes University, which I am been a proud alumnus of since 1993. Cowboy Bob will be missed... :,-C

This site is dedicated to the memory of Adam West (1928..2017). Adam West was best known as the
distinctive voice of Batman in the 1966-68 series of the same name, as well as 1976's New Adventures of Batman,
and Batman in Challenge of the Superfriends from 1984 onwards... Adam West will be missed. :-(

In loving memory -- Glen Campbell, Country / Pop music legend (1936..2017)

In Loving memory -- Monty Hall (1921..2017), famous for "Let's Make a Deal",
passed away 1-Oct 2017 at the age of 96. He will be missed. :,-C

This site is dedicated to the legendary Jim Nabors, who passed away 30-Nov 2017. He was 87.
Jim Nabors was best known as Gomer Pyle on the Andy Griffith show and its spin-off series,
Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. Jim Nabors is also known as a legendary icon at the Indianapolis 500
for his traditional rendition of Indiana's state song Back Home Again from 1972 to 2014.
Jim Nabors had a wonderful singing voice, and he will be missed. :-(

In memorium -- Stan Lee (1922..2018), comic book legend, famous for Spider Man, The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four, and other Marvel publications... :-(

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of country guitar virtuoso, Roy Clark (1933..2018).
Roy Clark was a great singer and guitar player, and is best known as the host of Hee Haw from 1968 to 1993,
and also for his most famous hit single "Yesterday, When I was Young", which hit #19 in 1969. Roy Clark will be missed! :,-C

In loving memory: Arte Johnson (1929..2019) -- famous for his appearances on Laugh-In such as Tyrone F. Hornleigh (this character
would make an animated cameo on the short-lived "Baggy Pants and the Nitwits" during the 1977-78 television season, and as "Wolfgang",
the soldier who would scout out the show during its run. Arte Johnson was also the host of "Knockout", a game show on NBC from 1977-78,
and various other acting jobs, including a voiceover for the Snorks. He was also the voice of "Misterjaw" during its short run during the
1977-78 season (his famous phrase was "Gotcha!", an homage to the Jaws franchise, which was popular from 1975 to 1979).
He will be sorely missed! :,-C

In loving memory -- Kenny Rogers (1938..2020) -- country music artist, famous
for such songs as "Lady", "You Decorated My Life", "Gambler", "Ruby Don't Take
Your Love To Town", among others -- he will be missed!

In loving memory -- Jim Gerard (1927..2020), Indiana hall of fame broadcast legend.
Jim Gerard's famous warm voice help him gain a local talk show that bore his name,
"The Jim Gerard Show", from 1966 to 1992 -- the show was first broadcast live daily from
1966 to 1976 on WRTV-6 (the first six years though, the call sign was WFBM), then an NBC
affiliate, and then from 1976 to 1992 on WTTV-4, during its days as an independent station.
In the Indianapolis market. Jim Gerard was also well known as the voiceover for
Hook's Drugs, and even made several on camera appearances as well. Everyone in the
Indianapolis area (including me, the webmaster of this page), will miss this broadcast
legend -- thank you Jim Gerard for your years of service; you will be missed! :-(

In memorium: Mac Davis (1942..2020) -- singer / songwriter, famous for his #1 hit single
from 1972, "Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me", and also the songwriter for one of Elvis Presley's famous
tunes, "In the Ghetto", relased in 1969. Mac Davis will be missed!

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of game show legend Alex Trebek (1940..2020).
Trebek was famous for such game shows as Double Dare '76, High Rollers '74 & 78, Battlestars,
Classic Concentration, The Wizard of Odds (where Trebek got his start at NBC in 1973),
Wheel of Fortune (as a guest host for a week in 1980), and most notably Jeopardy! Alex Trebek was a
legend in his own time, and he will be sorely missed! Thank you for the good memories! :,-C

In memorium: B. J. Thomas (1942..2021) -- famous for the hit singles "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" (1968),
"Hooked On A Feeling" (1969), and "Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song" (1975) -- he will be missed!

In memorium: Al Unser Sr. (1939..2021) -- racing car legend, and four-time Indy 500 winner!

In memorium: Betty White (1922..2021) -- longtime American actress and comedienne, and also the widow of the late game show Legend Allen Ludden, most
famous for his show, Password, until his death in 1981. Betty White will be missed -- she was 99.

It is with great sadness to announce the death of longtime Sesame Street alumnus
Emilio Delgado (1940..2022), famous for his role as Luis Rodriguez on the long-running
series from 1971 to 2016. Emilio Delgado, along with fellow former cast member Sonia Manzano, who
played Maria Figuero for 44 years, eventually becoming the head writer for the show up until
a few years ago, helped bring Spanish language curriculum to the show, thus securing its place in history.
We will miss you, Emilio Delgado...you will be sorely missed! :,-(

In memorium: Bernard Cribbins (1928..2022) -- English actor, voice actor and singer.
Bernard Cribbins was best known as the original narrator for the 1974-76 animated television
series, Simon and the Land of Chalk Drawings -- although, during 1975-82, his narration
would be replaced by that of the late Robert Keeshan (aka Captain Kangaroo); US viewers would hear
Bernard Cribbins' unmistakable, warm, gentle voice again when the children's show, Pinwheel, would
return in 1982 on Nickelodeon. Bernard Cribbins will be missed! :,-(

In memorium: Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), Queen of England (1952-2022)

We regret to announce that another longtime alumnus of the Sesame Street family has passed away.
Bob McGrath (1932..2022), known on Sesame Street as Bob Johnson, passed away on 4-Dec 2022 at the age of 90.
He was an original cast memeber from the day the show started on 10-Nov 1969, up until 2016, although he would
make occasional appearances, including Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Special, until his death. Bob McGrath
was a great actor, as well as a great singer. We will miss you, Bob McGrath...you will be sorely missed! :,-(

In memorium: Burt Bacharach -- American Pianist, Composer, Producer (1928-2023)

In memorium: Tina Turner (1940..2023), famous for her redition of John Fogerty's hit single "Proud Mary" (1971),
"What's Love Got To Do With It?" (1984), "We Are the World" (1985), and another classic favorite of mine "I'll Be Thunder",
which has a Tangerine Dream sound to it. Tine Turner's legacy will live on, and she will be missed. Tina Turner was 83... :-(

In memorium: Paul Reubens aka "Pee Wee Herman" (1952..2023)

It is with great sadness to announce that legendary host Bob Barker has passed away
on 26-Aug 2023 at the age of 99. Bob Barker was best known for shows like The Price is Right
and Truth or Consequences, as well as many other various game show and television show appearances
through the years. Bob Barker will be sadly missed, and even though he is gone, his impact on the
television industry will be a great one to remember. Thank you, Bob Barker -- we will miss you!
